Commercial Insulation
Spray foam insulation has been used extensively within the industrial & commercial market since the early 80s for both insulation and condensation purposes in both new- build and existing structures such as:
- Factories & office blocks
- Warehouses & industrial units
- Workshops & garages
- Schools & hospitals
- Retail & storage units
- Swimming pools & municipal buildings
- Car parks & concrete soffits
The material can be applied to almost any surface:
- Metal
- Wood
- Concrete
- Asbestos sheeting
- Breezeblock and brick
The variety of uses of spray foam insulation means it is frequently specified on new build projects.
In some cases it is used in older buildings purely for the encapsulation of asbestos sheeting. Its ease of application means that large areas can be covered within minimal timescales with little or no inconvenience.
Pre-1970s buildings suffering from inadequate insulation can be brought up to today’s specifications by using the appropriate thickness of insulation to comply with required U values and building regulations, providing a cost effective solution.
The spray foam is applied in liquid form, directly onto the back of the sheeting, enabling the insulation to seek and seal all air leakage, reducing heat loss, cutting down on carbon emissions and saving money on energy costs.
The energy efficiency of existing buildings can easily be raised to meet today’s building regulations.
